NPTEL Local Chpter
B.P.Poddar Institute of Management & Technology is approved to be the Local Chapter of NPTEL, A MHRD Govt. of India Project
The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a project funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD),Govt.
of India provides e-learning through online Web and Video courses in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Management and Humanities.
This is a joint initiative by seven IITs and IISc Bangalore.
NPTEL is a curriculum building exercise and is directed towards providing learning materials in science and engineering by adhering
to the syllabi of All India Council for Technical Education and the slightly modified curricula of major affiliating Universities. It
has developed curriculum based video courses and web-based e-courses targeting students and faculty of institutions offering UG engineering
programs.
B.P.Poddar Institute of Management & Technology (BPPIMT)is approved to be the Local Chapter of NPTEL Project with effect from April,2016.BPPIMT
has a great practice of e-learning and execution of online tests similar to different national level exams. NPTEL will be a good help to
its students.
We are glad to inform that NPTEL- local chapter has been established in our institute under Central Library in affiliation to IIT, Khragpur.
and recognized as an ACTIVE Local Chapter.
By participating in NPTEL online courses, our college is also participating in SWAYAM, the National MOOCs portal being developed by MHRD, Govt. of India.
