They will be selected on the basis of their designing skill.After selection they have to implement their bot in the arena.
Ro-Navigator Ro-Constru
Event Description
Autonomous bot requires to traverse the following arena without
any manual assistance of any kind from the starting point.
The entire path of the robot is indicated by a central white line.
The robot is required to follow this line along its way. The entire path
of the robot is divided into distinct regions.
Bot Specification
20*20*20 (all measurements in centimeters)
Rules for Ro-Navigator bots:
Bot should traverse the the path shown in the figure within 10 minutes.
For each 90 degree rotation 100 points will be credited.
Bonus points will be credited (remaining minutes*50) points.
For extra time negative points will be credited.
No LEGO kits will be allowed.
A robot will be allowed a maximum of 3 restarts.
Each restart will credit -20 points.
Before starting the round, participants can request for a 15 minute test run, after which no other requests for test-run will be entertained.
No requests for a second test-run will be entertained even if the first test-run took less than 15 minutes.
Each team may consists maximum 4 members.

Ro-Splash Ro-Constru
Event Description
Make a manually controlled bot which is capable of moving in the water while
being afloat & performing the basic tasks. The tasks may vary from just
maneuvering the bot according to a path, to collecting balls and placing them
at a certain point.

25*25*25 (all measurements in centimeters)
Rules for Ro-Splash bots:
The bot should stay afloat on water
Traversing the whole arena will credit 300 points.
A bot has to travel a specified path(as in figure) and has to ring bells(Bonus of 50 points for ringing each bell, No. of bells: 3)
A bot has to collect the balls and drag them to final position(Bonus of 50 points for each ball, No. of balls: 4)
Bonus points will be awarded for time saving skills(Remaining time*35 points)
No Lego kits or TRI kits or ready made components are allowed to use, except of the use of ready made gear boxes.
At any part of the connections, the voltage difference should not exceed 24 volts.
The connections and power supply will be checked by the volunteers before the start of the event.
Since the entire arena is made of iron, it is strictly advised that all connections are to be made leak and water proof.
The bot should not employ any mechanism that might damage the arena. Points will be deducted for the same.
A 220 volt AC supply will be provided.
It is advised that the teams uses the minimum length of the wire that connects the bot to the remote as 6 meters. The greater - the better!
Ro-Splash Arena
Basic Ro-vers Ro-Constru
Event Description
Each team will be provided with virtual money & they
have to buy required equipments from our store by that
virtual money. They have to implement their design
within 1 hour span by those equipments. Bonus points will
be credited on the amount of remaining virtual money.
Bot will have to traverse through sand, gravels, mud and
through difficult terrains to reach its destination with
minimum time.

30*30*30 (all measurements in centimeters)
General Rules:
Team may consist of maximum 4 members.
Every team will be provided with 1000 bipro
(bipro=currency of the event)
Total time limit is 20 minutes for implementing in arena &
1 hr. for making the bot.
Bonus point will be credited for remaining time
(remaining time * 40) points.
Extra bonus will be credited for saving virtual money as
(remaining money* 1/3) points.
The participants will be provided with a 230 V AC power
source. They have to bring their own adapters.
The Maximum voltage allowable between any two points on
the bot is 24 V DC
2 handtouches will be allowed
1 timeout will be allowed for 5 mins timeout will credit
minus 50 points.
