Exploring the cosmic origin of the evolution of universe since Big Bang and solving the mysteries therein has been pursued from times immemorial.
Today, scientists, engineers and researchers study the extreme physical conditions of the universe from birth to evolution addressing thereby the
hot universe, strong gravitational fields, dark energy, cosmic microwave background radiation through theoretical study, state-of -art technology
and innovation.
The present FDP would endeavor to address the mysteries of universe from Big Bang to cosmic microwave background radiation incorporating the celestial
marvels like pulsars, supernova, black holes, dark matter, dark energy etc. Distinguished speakers would also focus and address the key projects
undertaken by India like LIGO, GMRT, SKA, TMT in collaboration with other renowned institutions in the world. Research in the country, in the field
of adaptive optics for the improvement of optical spectroscopy in astronomy and in the field of nuclear astrophysics to understand the origin of elements
in the solar system will also be addressed in the present FDP. The key projects related to these fields and the associated techniques would be highlighted.
