General Guidelines

You are advised to maintain the following guidelines

CONDUCT & MISCONDUCT

The students are expected to maintain good conduct & relationship throughout their academic career with the Faculty and other staff members of the Institution. In any case should any one found involved in misconduct with Faculty , other staff and colleagues, the appropriate disciplinary actions including expulsion from the Institute as per University’s Rules & Regulation shall be taken.

Wearing Institute recommended uniform (including black shoe) is mandatory. The code of Uniform should be strictly maintained. The Institute identity card should be carried and displayed properly while inside campus. The uniform should be kept clean as one must remember that cleanliness is conducive to a vibrant academic atmosphere and instrumental in developing students’ personality.

You are advised not to indulge in any activities that may lead to the damage of Institutions property, Laboratory Equipments, Machines, Instruments, Computers etc. It will be the duty & responsibility of concerned students to keep the machines, equipments in laboratories etc. in good operating condition by following the Operation Manual, Instructions of Faculty members & Technical Assistants. In case of any academic query, you should immediately consult the respective Teachers.

Smoking, consumption of Drugs, Liquors etc. is strictly prohibited within the premises of the Institute including classrooms, Laboratories, Workshops, Library & Reading rooms, Canteen, toilets, corridors etc.

NUISANCE & SLOGAN, FESTOONS & WALL- POSTERING

Committing nuisance, Loitering hither & thither without any work, shouting slogan in any form or using abusive language against any Faculty, Official and / or Management is strictly prohibited. Postering or Writing on the walls within the premises of the Institute will attract disciplinary actions.

RESPECT FOR FACULTY TEACHERS

The students should show/pay due and proper respect to the Faculty members, Non-teaching and other staff members.

STUDENTS’ CANTEEN

Student canteen located on the ground floor of the C-Block for refreshments, meals, snacks, tea and coffee at the approved rates. Suggestion for improvement is welcome.

REPORTING OF ACCIDENTS / INCIDENT

In case of any accident involving any student / or staff members should be reported immediately to the Registrar’s Office for necessary action.
