Performing Arts Forum

Function of the Cell
  • Promotes cultural and artistic activities within the college campus and outside of the college.
  • Organizes and manages events such as dance performances, singing competitions, theatre productions, and musical programs.
  • Provides a platform for students to develop and showcase their creative talents beyond academics.
  • Functions under faculty guidance to ensure proper planning, discipline, and smooth execution of events.
  • Enhances overall campus engagement and cultural participation through rehearsals, workshops, and inter- and intra-college competitions.

The college provides well-developed cultural facilities to support extracurricular activities of students. These facilities ensure a comfortable, well-equipped environment for organizing various cultural programs.

Seminar Hall, B Block, BPPIMT

The seminar hall is regularly used for workshops, cultural events and stage rehearsals. Seminar Hall facilities include:

  • Seating capacity of 186 seats
  • Fully air-conditioned
  • Equipped with 2 projector connections
  • 4 microphone connections with two stands
  • Guitar cord connection for musical performances
  • Proper lighting arrangements
  • Proper ceiling mounted sound systems with Amplifier

Auditorium, C Block, BPPIMT

The auditorium serves as the venue for large-scale cultural programs and major institutional   
  events.  Auditorium facilities include:

  • Seating capacity of 400 seats
  • Equipped with 2 projector connections
  • 4 microphone connections
  • Fully air-conditioned with 16 ACs.
  • Equipped with 12 boxes for sound system with amplifier
  • Proper lighting arrangements

Rehearsal and Activity Spaces

The college provides dedicated and shared spaces for practice and preparation:
Rooms Used for rehearsals and workshops are:

  • Common Room for Boys and Girls
  • Student Activity Room: C Bock Room No: 202
  • Alumni Room with big size mirror is used as Green room.
  • These rooms offer a supportive and comfortable environment for students to practice, conduct meetings, and organize small-group activities.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

Wi-Fi facility is available, which allows smooth access to digital resources, online rehearsals, presentations, and event coordination.

Conclusion

The institute’s cultural infrastructure reflects its commitment to holistic development of students. The availability of modern facilities, technical support, and adequate rehearsal spaces enables smooth organization of cultural events, which promotes creativity, teamwork, and talent development among students.

Coordinator

  • To coordinate various activities of the forum.
  • To conduct meeting and maintain proper coordination between department and higher management.
  • Motivate students to participate in different state and national level competition.
  • Take necessary steps for planning of upcoming events.

Faculty Members

  • Coordinates with the respective departmental students.
  • Will interact with the departmental students to motivate and nurture their cultural instinct.
  • Maintain liazo between the respective department and the forum.

Roles and Responsibilities of Student Members

  • Student core committee members will coordinate with all the performing members regarding their practice for the upcoming intra and inter college events.
  • Maintain discipline on the day of event.
  • Coordinator: One Faculty member from ECE department.
  • Faculty members: One Faculty member from EE department, two faculty members from ECE, CSE and IT department.
  • Student members: Student members from each department (CSE, ECE, IT, EE & MCA)
