Orator’s Forum

Function of the Cell
  • Create a conducive environment for the students to acquire the skill of public speaking.
  • Endow the students to enhance their ability in speaking their minds skillfully and effectively to increase their employability.
  • Build opportunities for social development through participation in various activities related to Oration.
  • Room for the students and faculty members to discuss about the activities.
  • Having a good no. of chairs and space to discuss / conduct the committee meetings.
  • Seminar Hall/Auditorium to organize events.

Coordinator

  • To coordinate Oratory activities in accordance with student’s abilities and requirements for Industry/job.
  • To coordinate internal resources available in the form of oratory expertise of teachers for enhancing the knowledge and oratory skills of the students.
  • To synchronize with various external resources like other colleges, government bodies, Industry etc and create oratory opportunities for students.

Faculty Members

  • To prepare orientation programs for student members, explain them about the concept of public speaking, and teach them methods and skills required for achieving the objectives of the forum.
  • To promote oratory activities through meetings, talks, discussions etc.
  • To help in formulating oratory events which will have direct relationship with the academic/Industry co-curricula.

Student Members

  • Actively live out the expectations of Oratory forum of the Institute.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by encouraging other students to participate in oratory activities and overcome problems of expressing themselves.
  • To represent the Institute at various college and public oratory events.
  • One member as coordinator from Department of Applied Science and Humanities.
  • One faculty member and three students from Department of Compute Science and Engineering.
  • One faculty member and two students from Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering.
  • One faculty member and two students from Department of Information Technology.
  • One faculty member and one student from Department of Electrical Engineering.
