The Visual Arts Forum is a platform that is created primarily for visual perception. It generally includes drawing, painting, sculpture, crafts, photography, video, filmmaking and architecture. It may also include applied arts such as industrial design, graphic design, fashion design, interior design and decorative art.
Function of the Cell
- To provide a podium for students to display their talents in visual perception in the form of painting, photography, crafts, video etc.
- To extract the potential of students in their own field of interests through their portrayal conception.
- To encourage the students to improvise their creations through a spirit of competition.
Facilities of the Cell
- Conference room in Block A used for generating meeting.
- Student activity room in Block C and institute seminar hall in Block B used for organising events, activities.
- Computer and printer used for preparing poster, notice or documents.
- Institute notice board, official website for circulating the notice.
Roles & Responsibilities
Coordinator
- Role
- To coordinate among the members, volunteers & participants and organize meeting related to visual art.
- Responsibility
- Inform the committee members about the upcoming events, meeting, decision taken etc. and coordinate committee meeting.
- Help the student volunteers to organize the events, activities related to visual art.
- Implement the decision taken in the committee with the help of faculty members and the college authority.
- Prepare documents, records, budgetary requirements, expenditure statements of this committee with the help of faculty members.
Faculty Members
- Role
- To organize the events and help coordinator to manage it.
- Responsibility:
- Keep information and documents relating to visual arts of their corresponding departments.
- Attend the meeting and provide suggestion about the upcoming events, meeting, decision etc. to the committee.
- Help the student volunteers to organize the events, activities related to visual art.
- Arrange small activity, workshop to encourage the students about visual art.
- Help the coordinator to prepare budgets, expenditure statements, records etc. of this committee.
Student Members
- Role
- To execute the proposal of each event, activity.
- Responsibility:
- Work under the guidance of faculty members on various activities, events, workshop etc.
- Coordinate with classmates to inform and motivate them about participation the various programme of visual art.
