Sayandip Bhattacharyya, Rahul Sinha and Parthiv Modak from Department of CSE secured a position in top 3 out of 400+ teams in SAP ICOE Hackathon 2024, organized by International Center of Excellence for AI, Data Science and Futuristic technologies in association with SAP community Kolkata. The event was held from April 4th to 27th April.
Sagnick Routh (CSE), Rishav Thakkar (CSE) members of Team DEVTA from BPPIMT participated in KSHITIJ 2024, the tech fest held by IIT Kharagpur and secured 2nd position in Robo war 8 kg category on 21st January, 2024 and also they have received an award for the most destructive bot in 8 kg category.

Anamika Choudhury a member of Team Pentium Reboot from BPPIMT wins first prize in Smart India Hackathon 2020 on August 4, 2020. They developed a Mobile based Inventory Management System using QR code application, Problem Code AK12 for Airports Authority of India.
Dwaipayan Bhattacharya), Akash Roy, Kamala Chakraborty, Arijeet Nayak member of team D-Cartail from BPPIMT participated in Final round of Smart India Hackathon 2020 from 01.08.2020 to 03.08.2020.They developed a Court Case Management System, Problem Code DS159.

Collaboration with IBM (Mr. Joydeep Banerjee, Lead Mainframe & AS/400 Service, CIC India) for training students on Mainframe System Z for creating industry ready professionals.
A batch of 35 students were trained on basic concepts of System Z training that started on 9th February 2018 and completed with completion of project in April 2018.
A 2-day Bluendroid Workshop organized by Embedded System & Robotics Laboratory of Department of CSE in association with TechieNest&Aavriti;, IIT Bombay during 5th-6th March, 2019.
E-Yantra Robotics Competition (eYRC-2018) organized by IIT Bombay – Two teams were selected and were provided with kits by e-Yantra, IIT Bombay on the themes – Hungry Bird and Thirsty Crow (embedded robotic system themes) to prepare for the final round.

DebomoyChattaraj, DhirajJaiswal, SakshamSnehMandal, SutirthaSaha successfully completed Industry-Academia collaborative project titled “Towards Design of Light weight Network Anomaly Detection System (LNADS)” under the IBM Global Remote Mentoring Program in collaboration with Caesar Chatterjee&PriyankarMalakar; of IBM Kolkata.
CSE students participated in E-Yantra ideas Competition (eYIC) and four proposals were shortlisted by Embedded Systems and Robotics Lab, Dept. of CSE. “Smart Wheelchair” was selected by e-Yantra, IIT Bombay for participating in the finals.
Jyotiprava Pal (CSE 3rd Year), Debasish Das (CSE 3rd Year) and ArtharJamil (CSE 3rd Year) selected for participating in eYantra Ideas Competition 2019 conducted by IIT Bombay titled – ‘IOT based Smart Wheelchair using Indoor GPS and Embedded Systems for Healthcare Services’.

DebadriChowdhury (CSE 4th year) & Arnab Ghosh (CSE 4th year) were part of team “Delta” from BPPIMT who was declared winner at Bengalathon – a Technology based competition, an initiative by Department of Information Technology & Electronics, Govt. of West Bengal on 8th February 2019 at the Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Kolkata.
Students participated and won in model competition for National Science Day organized by MAKAUT on 28th February.
Two teams were selected from the 2-day Bluendroid Workshop organized by Embedded System & Robotics Laboratory of Department of CSE in association with TechieNest&Aavriti;, IIT Bombay during 5th-6th March, 2019.
The selected teams submitted project abstracts and one of them was selected to represent as the finalist of aIRC’19 (All India Research Competition) at Bombay on 17th March. CSE students Modhura Das (3rd year), Kundan Kumar (3rd year), SanahAsgar (2nd year) were part of the team.
Smart India Hackathon 2019 1st prize winning team comprised of CSE 3rd Year Student Team Members – Mohammed Azib (Team Leader), GauravJaiswal, KirathKanak, Kishor Kumar Mahto, MurtazaSadriwala. The team developed an innovative app titled “Smart lightning predictor and alert system” lightning prediction under the department of MSME, Govt. of India.
