Roles & Responsibilities of Placement Cell

Roles (Coordinator)

  1. Conduct analysis of the industrial policies, practices, procedures and the technological trends with the stakeholders.
  2. Conduct training need analysis to identify the skills required for the student as per current industrial requirements.
  3. Organize the placement readiness training program and proper analysis of pre and post assessment of records, training feedback.
  4. Monitoring and tracking progress of the students by supervision and feedback mechanism.
  5. Preparation of the placement brochure.
  6. Orient students about training and placement process, rules and regulations.
  7. Finalize the list of probable recruiters for placement drives.
  8. Frame proper guideline to ensure the participation of students in the recruitment process.
  9. Seeking approval from the Principal regarding various recommendations of the committee.

Roles (Faculty Members)

  1. Conduct analysis of the industrial policies, practices, procedures and the technological trends related to the program.
  2. Conduct training need analysis to identify the skills required for the student as per current industrial requirements as per program.
  3. Proper analysis of pre and post assessment of records of placement readiness training program and training feedback and take necessary action.
  4. Monitoring and tracking progress of the students by supervision and feedback mechanism and take corrective measure.
  5. Provide necessary department and program related information in preparation of the placement brochure.
  6. Orient students about training and placement process, rules and regulations.
  7. Finalize the list of probable recruiters for placement drives considering the skill and knowledge of the departmental students.

Roles (TPO)

  1. Conduct analysis of the industrial policies, practices, procedures and the technological trends with the stakeholders.
  2. Conduct training need analysis to identify the skills required for the student as per current industrial requirements.
  3. Organize the placement readiness training program and proper analysis of pre and post assessment of records, training feedback.
  4. Inviting existing and prospective recruiters for campus placements.
  5. Orient students about training and placement process, rules and regulations.
  6. Finalize the list of probable recruiters for placement drives.
  7. Arrange the necessary facilities at the campus for smooth execution of the recruitment process.

Roles (Student Members)

  1. To convey the information related to skills required to the student groups and vice versa.
  2. Sharing the feedback of student groups regarding skill gaps in context to industry expectation.
  3. Assist in implementation and monitoring of skill development activities.
  4. Meeting prospective corporate for internship and placement.
  5. Facilitating corporate guests during placement activities.
