The Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory provides hands-on experience in fundamental electrical concepts for 30 students per batch, with a 90% utilization rate per week. The lab is equipped with setups for rectifier units, lighting circuits (fluorescent, tungsten, and carbon lamps), R-L-C series and parallel circuits, and calibration of meters. It also includes experiments on DC motor control, transformer testing, magnetic circuits, and network theorem verification (Models NW-1 & NW-2). Additionally, PCs with Scilab software support simulation and analysis. The lab effectively integrates theory with practice, enhancing students’ experimental and analytical skills in electrical engineering.
